How RelayHold handles your data, and the rules for using the remote desktop service. Last updated: October 2026.
Remote desktop sessions are end-to-end encrypted between the client and the host. Screen content, keyboard input, file transfers, and clipboard data are not readable by the relay and are not stored on our servers.
When you sign up we store your email address and a hashed password. Your address book, device lists, and audit records stay on the RelayHold API server so those features can work. We do not sell your data.
Each host registers a device ID and public key so a remote desktop session can find it. Connection metadata such as device IDs, timestamps, and the account used is logged for security and support. Session content is not logged.
Account data is kept while your account is active. You can ask for the account and its data to be deleted. Audit logs may be kept for a limited security window.
You can view and manage your devices and address book from the portal at any time.
Ask support to delete your account and we will remove your account data from the API server.
