Everything you need to install, deploy, and fix RelayHold.
Run RelayHold.msi and follow the installer. The client installs machine-wide, registers with the relay server, and starts listening immediately — no manual server configuration is needed.
If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info then Run anyway. The installer is signed; SmartScreen flags new software by reputation, not by detected threats.
Some antivirus tools flag uncommon installers by reputation. The MSI is signed, and you can verify your download against the SHA-256 checksum on the download page.
If your antivirus quarantines the installer, restore it and add an exclusion. Submitting a false-positive report to your antivirus vendor helps everyone.
On the machine you want to reach, enable unattended access in the client's security settings and set a permanent password. The machine stays reachable with its device ID even after reboots — no one has to accept a dialog.
The client connects outbound to the relay on standard HTTPS/WSS ports (443). In most environments no inbound firewall rules are needed. For direct peer connections, allow outbound UDP.
RelayHold ships as a standard MSI, so any MSI deployment tool works. Silent install:
msiexec /i RelayHold.msi /qn
The installer is machine-wide, so per-user profile issues don't apply.
