Most remote desktop tools funnel your traffic through someone else's cloud. RelayHold flips that: a fully rebranded, self-hosted client wired to your own rendezvous and relay servers from the first launch. Nothing to configure on endpoints — the infrastructure is baked in.
Beyond the fork basics: a built-in file manager for moving work between machines, and unattended access tuned for managed fleets at scale.
RelayHold is a Rust + Flutter application, forked from RustDesk and rebranded end-to-end — name, icons, installers, and server defaults. It inherits a battle-tested core while carrying its own identity and defaults.
None of this would exist without the RustDesk project and its contributors, or the wider Rust and Flutter ecosystems. RelayHold is released under AGPL-3.0 in that same spirit.
Client sign-in backed by a self-hosted API server: address book sync, machine grouping, and cross-device session history.
A web console for fleet visibility — device inventory, online status, and access management for every RelayHold endpoint.
Today RelayHold targets Windows. Bring-your-own builds for additional platforms are on the drawing board.
